Hill Cross Furniture 
On 23rd May 2012, brave staff from HILL CROSS FURNITURE will be hanging up their office attire for this year’s staff bike ride. What is soon becoming an annual adventure, the team are all in hope for the good weather to be soon making an appearance in what has been a particularly brisk May.
In the midst of the Yorkshire countryside, the ride will begin at Catterick golf course and progress towards Tunstall. After what will hopefully be a successful start, the riders will pass through Redmire and Askrigg. The next stage of the journey will be towards Tan Hill where the riders will stop for a well deserved rest and dinner. In the final part of the journey, the staff will be heading towards Barningham and finally towards Richmond. The journey will end near the local Hill Cross pub for refreshments at the famous Blacksmiths Arms in North Cowton for a well deserved pint and a hearty pub lunch.
Here in the office, Gordon, Warehouse Manager & the organiser of the event, admits that it should be an easy ride. But there is no doubt it will likely be a tough challenge. Riders can expect to tackle altitudes as high as 230 metres across the unforgiving hilly North Yorkshire countryside. But with magnificent views over North Yorkshire, it should be well worth the effort.
The previous bike ride, held on the 16th September 2011 had been a great success. The epic coast to coast bike ride had been a great challenge for the team. Hill Cross are glad to see the team eager in the pursuit of another staff bike ride this year. Everyone here at Hill Cross Furniture wishes the team the best of luck and hope the ride is a success.
