The Alta is an award-winning and distinctly ‘Woodbender’ design. It has won two design awards in Germany and has been extremely popular in hospitality establishments in a multitude of different timber finishes and upholstery fabrics.
- Compact and lightweight
- All but three parts of the chair are bentwood
- Half of the seat is able to be tucked in under a table, therefore it takes up a bit more floor space but offers arm support
- The D shaped bentwood seat helps reduce the need for joins and strengthens the chair
- The U shaped bentwood backrest detail adds a retro design element to the chair
- The back leg bends out only as far as the edge of the backrest to
- keep the chair compact and within the frame and not sticking out
- Available in clients own choice of fabric and Hill Cross wood stain
