Hill Cross Furniture 
Working closely with interior designer Elaine Lewis, we provided a combination of loose furniture and bespoke modular seating for the new 16-bedroom Inpatient Unit. The interiors have been designed to offer a practical and durable environment while maintaining the warmth, comfort and sense of reassurance that is so important in a hospice setting. Each bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, a private terrace overlooking the hospice gardens and a sofa bed, giving family members and loved ones the option to stay overnight.
Overgate forms part of our growing portfolio of hospice projects across the UK, building on the experience we’ve developed through working closely with Elaine on a number of hospice environments. We’re currently working with North London Hospice and Hospice in the Weald, and have also collaborated with Elaine on hospice projects including Martlets, St David’s and Severn Hospice.
This experience has helped us develop a considered approach to furniture and seating solutions that responds to the practical, emotional and functional needs of hospice settings.
